IFE expands further and founds subsidiary company

Strengthening customer support in Germany

IFE Aufbereitungstechnik GmbH is continuing to expand its presence in Germany and founded a subsidiary company based in Essen on March 27, 2019 for this purpose. The management of the still young "IFE Aufbereitungstechnik GmbH Deutschland" in an interview about the reasons for this strategic step:

How did the decision come about to form your subsidiary?

IFE has recorded steadily growing sales in Germany over the past 10 years. But most recently, we realized that our growth is not sustainable with available resources. As part of a comprehensive strategy process, various approaches for increasing incoming orders were examined, leading to the conclusion to wish to work on the German market more intensely with own IFE staff. For this purpose, IFE Aufbereitungstechnik Deutschland was founded as a sales subsidiary.

How will German customers be supported in the future?

Our two new sales representatives, Daniel Castro-Ferreira and Thomas Kohlhaas are currently presenting themselves to our existing customers. They guarantee optimum and flexible on-site support with immediate effect.

Daniel Castro-Ferreira has been working in the mechanical engineering industry for almost 10 years, having started his career with the design of vibrating machinery. He will primarily advise our customers in Southern Germany (Cellphone: +49 175 937 4832, E-mail: daniel.castro@ife-bulk.com).

Thomas Kohlhaas can look back on 25 years of experience in the recycling industry and was most recently plant manager of a large recycling plant in North Rhine-Westphalia. He will focus on supporting our customers in northern and eastern Germany (Cellphone: +49 175 385 4028, E-mail: thomas.kohlhaas@ife-bulk.com).

The team is further strengthened by Claudia Schmidtke, who actively supports her two colleagues in the acquisition of new customers (Tel. no.: +49 201 838 86860, Cellphone: +49 175 899 7235; E-mail: claudia.schmidtke@ife-bulk.com).

Our proven, experienced Office Project Management and Sales team in Waidhofen/Ybbs was recently completed by the employees Ferdinand Hager (Tel. no.: +43 7442 515-252; E-mail: ferdinand.hager@ife-bulk.com) and Lukas Wagner (Tel. no.: +43 7442 515-356, E-Mail: lukas.wagner@ife-bulk.com).

Bernd Breuing (G&A) used to be responsible for the German market. What part will Mr. Breuing play in future?

Bernd Breuing will in future be active in another area of the business group and will therefore no longer be available as a contact person for our customers.

What expectations do you have of the newly founded subsidiary?

Of course, we expect our business opportunities and growth opportunities to increase through direct market access and new team members. However, our customers will benefit from a particularly fast support and an extended pool of problem-solving skills. We are convinced that these measures will enable us to meet your requirements even better and more flexibly!
