Again strong rush at the IERC 2017

From January 17th to 20th, the international electronic scrap industry assembled at the Salzburg Congress for the 16th International Electronics Recycling Congress. A comprehensive conference program with about 30 lectures, workshops and panel discussions attracted around 480 visitors to Salzburg. Three plant tours to the companies Müller-Guttenbrunn Group, Montanwerke Brixlegg and EREMA were also part of the agenda.

The IFE Aufbereitungstechnik was among 60 exhibitors, who presented technical innovations for the processing of electronic waste as well as the latest sorting techniques, etc. Apart from well-known faces, the IFE also welcomed numerous new contacts on its stand. The event resulted in exciting inquiries, challenging tasks and interesting conversations, which were intensified during the networking dinner, which had the motto "Wednesday Night Fever".

IFE's first time at IFAT Eurasia

For the first time, the IFE Aufbereitungstechnik was represented at the IFAT Eurasia in Istanbul. Eurasia’s Leading Trade Fair for Environmental Technologies took place from February 16th to 18th and was a meeting point for more than 11.300 representatives of the environmental sector from more than 70 countries. Around 230 exhibitors from all over the world showcased the latest solutions and products for the environmental sector on an exhibition space of 17.000 m².

Together with our Turkish sales partner Enver Köse, the IFE Aufbereitungstechnik, represented by Christian Haas, presented itself at the Austrian group stand of the WKO. On this occasion, compliments to the Austrian Economic Chamber for the excellent organization.

Compared to similar trade fairs in the past, there were significant differences: The trade fair visitors are more enlightened and have more detailed knowledge about the environmental sector. This resulted in more specific inquiries than in previous years. However, due to the politically uncertain situation, an inhibited willingness for investment decisions is also apparent.

Nevertheless, visitors are encouraged to drive and develop the recycling industry. The IFAT Eurasia 2017 again demonstrated the continuing importance of Turkey as a hub for the environmental sector in the Eurasian region.

IFE-Survey: Semi-mobile machines

IFE impressed at the regional Inter-Company Ski Championship

The IFE employees proved their sporting talents at this year's 45th Lower Austrian Ski Championships on the Forsteralm. The organizers - the Landesskiverband NÖ and the NÖ Betriebssportverband - offered the participants a professional giant slalom run and an excellent slope preparation.

In an ideal winter weather, Stefan Haselsteiner, Franz Fuchsluger, Karl Miemelauer and Robert Rößler took part for the IFE Aufbereitungstechnik. They were able to convince with a strong team performance and won the 1st place of the team competition in their age.
