From September 5 to 7, IFE sales partners from all over the world gathered in Waidhofen for the IFE Global Sales Meeting. Guests from the Far East, Europe and also North America accepted the invitation to this event.
After informative presentations in Waidhofen including an entertaining evening reception, the conference continued in the beautiful Wachau region. There, a tour of the AEROSELECTOR at Brantner green solutions was on the agenda, as well as a company tour at IFE customer Fritz Egger GmbH & Co. KG, a chipboard producer.
We also did not miss the opportunity to give our guests a closer look at the Wachau World Heritage Site. This included a visit to a wine tavern and, as a final crowning touch, a guided tour of the impressing Melk Abbey.
Updates from the world of IFE
To kick off the event, our guests received exciting input on a wide range of topics. Helmut Tröbinger, Global Sales Director at IFE, not only presented facts & figures, but also gave a profound market analysis and pointed out potentials. André Bucher from the Swiss partner AA Protun AG, as well as Theo and Will Van Wely from the Canadian partner AIM gave interesting insights into their markets. The sales partners were extensively informed about the latest product innovations. This included not only the compost processing solution AEROSELECTOR, but also IFE's new digital product line: i-STEP. The program was topped off with presentations on new sales tools, on marketing strategies and options for strengthening our cooperation.
IFE solutions in action
After the intensive series of lectures, the guests took the opportunity to experience the AEROSELECTOR live in operation at the company Brantner green solutions. This was very impressive for newcomers and experienced participants alike to see how the machine extracts 4 further useful fractions from the screen residues. The purity of the finished compost screened by the IFE-VARIOMAT is also a particular highlight – as is the small amount of screen residue left at the end of the processing line.
On Thursday, the participants were given interesting insights into chipboard production at IFE's customer Fritz Egger GmbH & Co KG in Unterradlberg. The plant impressed with its high level of automation. The variety of products was also very remarkable. Sustainability plays a major role here. For example, there is a strong focus on recycled wood, for the processing of which numerous machines from IFE are used. Furthermore, Fritz Egger operates a biomass power plant at the site. Wood residues and recycled wood that is not suitable for production is used there to generate energy.
The Global Sales Meeting 2023 was a complete success. In three intensive days, our representatives received exciting updates on product innovations and sales strategies. Existing relationships were deepened and new contacts were made to strengthen the cooperation between the IFE team in Waidhofen and the sales partners. The IFE family is looking forward to many more projects and the continuous development of the joint cooperations.
