The CSMP combines a ballistic separation process with precise magnetic deflection. The particles are separated based on their individual trajectories, which are influenced by material properties and magnetic response. The result: maximum sorting purity, virtually copper-free iron scrap, and effective recovery of valuable materials—even with difficult input materials such as incinerator scrap or WEEE.
