Our first focus: i-STEP
Vibrating machines play a crucial role in the mineral processing industry and in waste management – they are an indispensable element of almost every processing line!
However, to accurately assess the operating status of screening machines or vibrating feeders, there has often been a lack of adequate monitoring and tools for timely prediction of disruptions.
This is where i-STEP comes into play – IFE's comprehensive software application for:
- condition monitoring,
- scheduled maintenance
- and enhanced customer support (operating manuals, spare parts lists, machine data and much more),
which will be presented in detail for the first time at IFAT 2024.
i-STEP Vibrosense App: designed for on-site use
We can provide a glimpse ahead: The new i-STEP vibration sensor is set to release soon, and the associated Vibrosense app is already available for download on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store!
The IFE app "i-STEP Vibrosense" presents a comprehensive vibration analysis of screening machines or vibrating feeders, including information on stroke, acceleration, vibration frequency and more – all in a matter of seconds!
All results are presented in a clear format and can be easily exported by e-mail or popular messenger services. Crucial information can thus be transmitted promptly to the responsible persons, streamlining maintenance procedures.
Our second focus: North America
After intensive market observation, we founded IFE Material Handling NA in the second half of 2023. This move aims to expand our international market presence to the North American countries of the USA, Mexico and Canada.
Since January 2024, we have been providing on-site support to existing customers and gradually expanding our influence. In the USA and Mexico, Mr. Al Pena serves as the point of contact for our clients. His expertise ensures personal and professional support. Additionally, we've established a partnership with SRS Systems for Recycling Solutions in Canada, which also guarantees direct dialogue.
The first highlights will include three trade fair participations in our key industries, where we will be represented by a strong team on site:
- ISRI2024 from April 15 to 18,
- WasteExpo 2024 from May 7 to 9,
- MinExpo 2024 from September 20 to 24, marking the successful conclusion of the exhibition season.
The trade show appearances will be accompanied by plant visits, both to existing IFE customers and new prospects, supported by our team from Austria.
