IFE vibrating machines create added value worldwide

Steel and metallurgical plants

Tailor-made vibratory and magnetic technology

Three-shift operation and high availability require reliable conveying, screening and magnetic technology. Wearing materials, dust and sometimes high material temperatures are just a few parameters that must be taken into account when dimensioning the machines. From material testing to planning, from design and production to maintenance, IFE is your reliable partner. Individual machines and system solutions are our top priority when it comes to equipping plant manufacturers and operators in the best possible way.

Advantages

Fulfilling high quality standards

Highest availability at low maintenance costs

Highest availability at low maintenance costs

Tailor-made designs with up to 50m² screen area

IFE convinces large steel producer with precision landing

In a tight time frame of just a few weeks, an existing device at Tata Steel in Holland was replaced by a 2 x 6 m IFE linear motion vibrating screen. The requirements for the screen were to efficiently screen out the fines contained in the large, abrasive coke cones - with as little dust generation as possible. In addition, the purchase was linked to the condition that the screen be adapted precisely to the infrastructure on site.

No chance for the tramp iron!

At the Trinecke Zelezarny steel mill in the Czech Republic (1000 t/h, approx. 3 million t/year), foreign iron contained in the material stream threatened to damage downstream processing units. As a result, smooth ore treatment could not be guaranteed. Until then, the removal of the interfering iron parts was realized by completely shutting down the production lines and manually removing the interfering materials, which meant a not inconsiderable additional effort. With the help of IFE overband magnetic separators in electromagnetic design, this problem could be solved.
