No chance for tramp iron!
At the Trinecke Zelezarny steel mill in the Czech Republic (1000 t/h, approx. 3 million t/year), tramp iron contained in the material stream threatened to damage downstream processing units. As a result, smooth ore treatment could not be guaranteed. Until then, the removal of the interfering iron parts was realized by completely shutting down the production lines and manually removing the interfering materials, which meant a not inconsiderable additional effort. With the help of IFE overband magnetic separators in electromagnetic design, this problem could be solved.
